For our project we wanted to make an interactive sculpture that would be simple and delightful for people to interact with. So, we decided to make an origami mouth and tiny pieces of sushi to go along with it. When a piece of food is placed in the mouth, the mouth chomps a few times to “eat” what it was fed. Simple but fun! Beyond that we wanted the composition to look refined so we made a throne for the mouth to sit on and a nicely set table of sushi pieces to choose from. Both main parts of the piece were mounted on a small wooden board.
